ERROR

"The trust relationship between this workstation and the primary domain failed" error when you log on to a computer that is running Windows 7.


CAUSE

The computer's machine account has the incorrect role or its password has become mismatched with that of the domain database.

RESOLUTION

The computer must be removed from the domain and rejoined. The computer's machine account has the incorrect role or its password has become mismatched with that of the domain database. This procedure must be performed by SPS Technology Staff. Please submit a help desk ticket to have this resolved.
