ShoreTel Connect - How to setup and configure

ShoreTel Connect is a PC application that allows you to manage your phone and voicemail right from your PC. You can review Voicemail, Answer and make calls, search for colleges and see their status. This article cover how to do your first time login and configure popular settings.

**First Time Login**

Upon running Connect for the first time, you will be asked to login. Enter the following:

Username/Email: YourSapulpaEmail@sapulpaps.org

Password: 'password' (If this does not work, contact the service desk to have them reset your password)

Click advanced.

Domain: leave empty

Server: ac-shoretel2

Click Login. It will ask you to setup a new password. make sure you have a strong password using at least 8 characters, including uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters (@,#,$, etc)

**Voicemail to Email**

If desired, you can receive an email whenever you get a voicemail, and even have a copy of the voicemail sent with the email to listen to.

  1. Click the drop-down in the top left, and goto settings.
  2. Go to the sidebar option 'Notifications' and then the 'Voicemail' tab.
  3. Check the first 2 boxes.
  4. If you do not want your phone to notify you that you have a voicemail, check the final box.
  5. Close the settings window.
